My Approach

I see each individual and family as unique and, as such, each therapy unique. I tailor interventions to address concerns and challenges, build upon existing strengths and supports, while offering a truly personalized approach to therapy. My practice is informed by my years of experience and training in a variety of approaches including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strategic solution focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family systems therapy. I work to provide a balance of practical strategies with greater self-awareness and insight. My approach is active and dynamic, utilizing warmth and humor.

I find it a privilege to be invited into people’s lives at challenging times. I hope that this perspective is evident in my work. My practice is primarily focused on children, adolescents and families, although I work with adults as well.
